Or rather, what's Ilana eating? Well the answer is a little bit of everything! I've been feeling in the dumps these last couple of months as have seen my weight skyrocket. I don't think it is due to this project, as I don't see Tom's recipes very fatty per se. However, my energy level is at an all-time low, and couple that with feeling really ogre-ish compared to the beautiful people walking the streets of Manhattan (this is why I like to stay in Brooklyn!), I have decided it is time for a change. I will still continue cooking and eating out of this fabulous book, but I will also try to exercise and go to the gym more often. I am 27 years old! There is no bloody reason for me to have a tire around my waist now! I am healthy and I am vivacious, and I refuse to feel sorry for myself anymore!! So there you go.
Feeling bad for myself is out, and doing good things to my body is in. Stay tuned for tonight's recounting of my attempt at healthy eatingl!!!
